DIVISION OF COLORECTAL SURGERY IN NUH

We are a team of highly trained and experienced colorectal surgeons situated at the NUH Medical Centre, Colorectal Centre. Our mission is to provide the highest quality and advanced surgical care for patients with diseases of the colon, rectum and anus.

In our quest to provide the best care for our patients, we are also actively involved in research, with the aim of pushing the frontiers in current colorectal health care.

As part of the National University Hospital (NUH), National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS) and the National University of Singapore (NUS), we are uniquely poised in the centre of academic and research excellence and associated with various university departments who are important in the different aspects of our research.

LAPAROSCOPIC CADAVERIC WORKSHOP
Pre-symposium Laparoscopic Cadaveric workshop on advanced laparoscopic oncological colorectal surgery. Personalised proctorship on laparoscopic oncological dissection of colon and rectum.


COLORECTAL CANCER SYMPOSIUM
Highlight of this symposium will be on liver, lungs and peritoneal metastasis treatment for colorectal cancer. We will be focusing on various advances in surgical and non-surgical modality of treatment involving multi-discipline discussions.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM 2016
Our theme last year was "Multidisciplinary Approach to Rectal Cancer". The organising committee crafted an exciting 2-day program centered on an interactive platform where participants discussed challenging rectal cancer cases.
